Also, yesterday was Hourly Comics Day! It's on the first of February every year, and you draw a panel (or two) for every hour you're awake! It's a fun exercise and unfortunately due to me working a 9-5 job from home, this year's batch was pretty uneventful. Regardless, if you wanna see the whole bunch, they're right over here!
New England is like a whole nother planet to me. Full-service gas stations and wacky criss-cross intersections, it's all pretty overwhelming. But also pretty exciting; to just up and leave the place you spent the first 22 years of your life. I want to travel more. Life is too short and I am way too impatient to spend it all in one place.
Also, I survived my first hurricane! Connecticut got off fairly lucky compared to New Jersey and parts of New York, but things were still pretty messed up post-storm, around here.
I was without power for about five days. Halloween was on day two and I started drawing silly conversations with skeletons. 2spooky!!!
Well it's been a busy couple of weeks for me, mainly in that I packed up and moved to Connecticut! I'm working on a lot of stuff and helping with a lot of stuff (stuff that I will try and talk about later when I can!) and my timing couldn't have been more magnificent with Hurricane Sandy.
I'm blogging during a hurricane.
Not gonna lie, that's pretty badass.
Once things get settled (and this Frankenstorm passes) there will be lots to show!
